SDO INTRODUCTION:

“Sustainable Development Organization” is a non-government organization registered in District Council Neelum AJ&K in 2008; and later it is registered in Azad Jammu & Kashmir Council under “Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies Registration and Control Ordinance 1961”. Its Regional office is located in Tehsil Sharda while the Liaison office located at Muzaffarabad, 01 Field Office in UC Gurase with Core Team of 35 professionals. Our Program areas are Education & Research, Infrastructure, Water & Sanitation, Livelihood, Health, Advocacy & Community mobilization, Environment, Women Empowerment (political & economic) & Gender Mainstreaming, Social Services, Strengthening Community Organization& Institutional Development, Emergency/Relief and Trainings & capacity Building.

Foundation of organized, educated and peaceful society; support Community to gearing socio-economic advancement and sustainable development for the benefit of disadvantaged section of society through participatory approach.

MISSION STATEMENT:

Realization of existence of democratic, educated and socially just society and articulate opportunities, capacity building of Community Organizations, mobilize resources and implement for sustainable and self-reliant development with active beneficiary participation.

As well as support the vulnerable groups, under privileged women, youths and children to eradicate poverty through economic empowerment. Adequate education and health facilities and services in a favorable environment for human being.
